Things to Carry on Andaman Tour

  • Important Documents : You must carry your original ID-Proofs along with photocopies. You must carry all the necessary travel-related documents and permissions, Covid vaccination certificates, and extra passport-size photos of each member.
  • Pack Right : Except winter season, there is no need for woolen clothes. Even a normal full sleeve will be enough in winter. Normal cotton t-shirts and comfortable pants are good for Andaman. You must carry a back-belt/ kito shoes around the sandy beaches. Carry a sun cap along with you.
  • Medical Box : A medical kit consisting of pain relievers, ointments, Paracetamol, and anti-diarrhea medication along with Band-Aid, bandages, and antiseptics, is a must thing to carry while you are traveling.

Port Blair is the entry point for the entire Andaman and Nicobar Islands. It is the capital and the largest city of Andaman Nicobar Islands. So this is the first city you will reach in Andaman. The historic Cellular Jail is located in this city. You can also visit Samudrika Marine Museum, Rutland Island, Viper Island, and the water sports complex among others. If you want to visit a beach, you can pay a visit to Corbyn's Cove Beach. You will love to spend a day at Jolly Buoy Island, which is a part of Mahatma Gandhi National Park and is famous for its crystal clear water and underwater coral reefs.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Dweep or commonly known as Ross Island is another gem of Andaman which will leave you spellbound with its natural beauty. For nearly 80 years, this Island was the headquarters of the Indian Penal Settlement. Before an earthquake in the year 1941, Ross Island had markets, stores, workshop, water distillation plant, church, tennis court, printing press, secretariat, open-air theatre, and others; but today, there are only some old dilapidated buildings.
